'Rain Rain Go Away' - Stormwater Concerns

"Rain Rain Go Away, Come again some other day . . ."

We have all heard or sang this song when we were children.

City Managers Need Assistance
Now that we are older and wiser, the song now reminds city managers, environmental project engineers and environmental agencies that there are new regulations and guidelines that must be followed during scheduled rain events.

The 'intent' of the new regulation is to spot any 'illicit' drainage from septic systems, oil tank farms, manufacturing concerns and other potential pollution sources from entering our streams, lakes and rivers during storm events.

GEI Tech Sampling
GEI has been assisting city officials and industry throughout the Ohio Valley by providing GEI's exclusive 'stormwater sampling' services.  GEI performs composite and 'grab' sampling analysis at various permitted and designated areas to verify if there are 'runoff' conditions that could be harmful during rain and storm events.

GEI's documented 'stormwater sampling' analysis of the rain event then is made available to our client and a final report is generated with recommended procedures to eliminate or mitigate 'stormwater' pollution.
